Hamas' military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, has been launching coordinated attacks on Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) positions, particularly in northern Gaza. In one recent ambush named “Breaking the Sword,” al-Qassam fighters targeted an IDF Storm military jeep with an anti-tank missile east of Beit Hanoun.
