Three Israeli hostages were released by Hamas under the ongoing ceasefire agreement. Israel’s Hostages and Missing Families Forum condemned the release images as “disturbing.” The released individuals had tragic personal histories, with family members killed in the October 7 attacks. Hamas has now freed 16 out of the 33 hostages promised in phase one, but Israel confirmed that eight of them are deceased.
