The world is tired of Israeli genocide and its crimes from Jenin to Jabalia : Marwan Bishara

Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst Marwan Bishara highlights the parallel struggles faced by Palestinian communities in Jenin and Gaza, emphasizing that both regions, with their refugee camps, symbolize steadfastness in the face of six decades of occupation and dispossession. He underscores the shared history of displacement, with Palestinian refugees forced out of their homeland living generation after generation in camps like Jenin in the West Bank and Jabalia in Gaza. Bishara also suggests that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s approach, particularly his insistence on maintaining a security zone in eastern Gaza, complicates any potential resolutions. This proposed zone, spanning approximately one kilometer wide and 15 kilometers long, faces strong opposition from Palestinians and has previously been labeled a "red line" by the Biden administration, which opposes further annexation, occupation, or land confiscation. Bishara argues that Netanyahu’s ongoing imposition of new conditions hinders progress and sustains the cycle of conflict.
