At least 66 Palestinians have been killed in a series of late-night Israeli airstrikes on Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip. Over 100 others have been injured.
The strikes targeted a residential neighbourhood near Kamal Adwan Hospital. The hospital's director reports that most victims of the assault on Beit Lahiya are women and children, with many still trapped under the rubble.
This bombing followed an earlier Israeli attack on Gaza City's Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood, which killed 22 people, including 10 children.
