A prominent Palestinian advocate has warned that the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar will not change the dynamic of the war in Gaza. Mustafa Barghouti, president of the Palestinian National Institute, said Sinwar was not seen as a "terrorist" by Palestinians but was viewed as someone who "fought for his country and his people". Mr Barghouti also accused Western media of double standards in how they reported Israeli and Palestinian deaths, adding that the 7 October atrocity was "a result of ethnic cleansing since 1948".
