Israel Vs Hezbollah War News | Hezbollah Attack On Israel IDF's Army Base In Haifa

Hezbollah rocket barrages triggered sirens across northern Israel overnight. In Haifa, the third biggest Israeli city and host of one of the country's biggest naval ports, sirens and explosions blared across the bay. People rushed to a nearby bomb shelter where a woman was trying to preoccupy children with games in the otherwise grim-looking gray room. An Israeli army spokesperson said in a statement that 'Five projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory and were successfully intercepted by the IAF'. Overnight in the Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona, just on the border with Lebanon, sirens were heard while Iron Dome Defence System launches could be seen, followed by explosions in the night sky. Hezbollah said on Sunday it was fighting Israeli forces trying to infiltrate Ramya village in southern Lebanon, as a third U.N. peacekeeper was wounded in Israel's escalating conflict with the Iran-backed Lebanese group. The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah militants flared up one year ago when the Iranian-backed group began launching rockets at northern Israel in support of Hamas, which launched the deadliest attack on Israel in its existence.
